| Abstract: | Experimental pool constructed on ice of lagoon, about 350 m offshore, near Barrow, AK. Three-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer-thermometer was installed above pool within 1 m of surface in order to measure momentum and heat fluxes in internal boundary layer over pool. Results were compared with undisturbed smooth snow-covered ice of lagoon. |
