Record #117723:

On the response of equilibrium thickness distribution of sea ice to ice export, mechanical deformation, and thermal forcing with application to the Arctic Ocean / Göran Björk.

Title: On the response of equilibrium thickness distribution of sea ice to ice export, mechanical deformation, and thermal forcing with application to the Arctic Ocean / Göran Björk.
Author(s): Björk, Göran.
Date: 1992.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1992.), Vol. 97(C7) (1992)
Abstract: Areal ice distribution in pack ice field is described, using classes characterized by different ice thicknesses. Each class may have snow layer on top and evolves according to thermodynamic forcing (same for all classes) and is followed through time. Mechanical forcing leads to ice export and deformation.
