| Abstract: | Analyzes Cl⁻, SO₄²⁻, Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Na⁺ and K⁺ contents of this snow, sampled during 1990-91 austral summer. Samples included fresh and recent snow and also 60 cm-deep profile. Results compared with those from other Antarctic and non-Antarctic sites. Possible sources of ions are discussed. |
