Record #117414:

The high-pressure complex of the Shackleton Range of Antarctica / V.S. Semenov, Ye.A. Vapnik.

Title: The high-pressure complex of the Shackleton Range of Antarctica / V.S. Semenov, Ye.A. Vapnik.
Author(s): Semenov, V. S.
Vapnik, Ye. A.
Date: 1992.
In: Polar Geography and Geology. (1992.), Vol. 16(1) (1992)
Abstract: Study focuses on thermodynamic conditions of metamorphism and includes analysis of fluid characteristics based on cryometric method. Detection of slightly mineralised salt-water inclusions in quartz provided new evidence suggesting a crustal nature of the fluid and an isochemical nature of the metamorphism.
