Abstract: Presents measurements of changes in atmospheric molecular oxygen using new interferometric technique showing that O₂ content of air varies seasonally in both northern and southern hemispheres and is decreasing from year to year. Alert, Ellesmere Island, is one of three stations from which observations are recorded.
