Record #117319:

On the relation between climate and retreat of Glacier AX010 in the Nepal Himalaya from 1978 to 1989 / Tsutomu Kadota, Yutaka Ageta.

Title: On the relation between climate and retreat of Glacier AX010 in the Nepal Himalaya from 1978 to 1989 / Tsutomu Kadota, Yutaka Ageta.
Author(s): Kadota, Tsutomu.
Ageta, Yutaka.
Date: 1992.
In: Bulletin of Glacier Research. (1992.), Vol. 10 (1992)
Abstract: During this period, glacier retreated about 30 m, which is equivalent to 12 m thinning of ice at terminus. To understand relation between climate and glacier variation, thinning is evaluated using simple models of mass balance and ice flow, and average climatic conditions around glacier are estimated.
