| Abstract: | Abstract only. Exact quantification of sea-ice fracture is complicated by coupled interaction of polycrystallinity, high-temperature creep-brittleness, and rate effects. On laboratory scale, question of specimen size has been investigated extensively. Predictions concerning fracture behaviour of sea ice on structural scales from laboratory-scale behaviour are presented. |
