Record #117206:

Oxygen isotope profiles of deposited snow in different depositional environments of the Antarctic ice sheet (abstract) / Yutaka Ageta, Kokichi Kamiyama, Hideki Narita, Kazuhide Satow.

Title: Oxygen isotope profiles of deposited snow in different depositional environments of the Antarctic ice sheet (abstract) / Yutaka Ageta, Kokichi Kamiyama, Hideki Narita, Kazuhide Satow.
Author(s): Ageta, Yutaka.
Kamiyama, Kokichi.
Narita, Hideki.
Satow, Kazuhide.
Date: 1992.
In: National Institute of Polar Research. Proceedings of the NIPR Symposium on Polar Meteorology and Glaciology. (1992.), Vol. 5 (1992)
Abstract: Vertical profiles obtained from Mizuho station, inland plateau (Dome Camp), and transitional zone between them (Advance Camp). Results from Mizuho cannot be compared with neighbouring profiles because of deposition and erosion by katabatic winds. Interannual variations of snow have been preserved better inland.
