Record #117136:

Palynology of the Marambio Group (Upper Cretaceous) of northern Humps Island / Philip J.D. Dolding.

Title: Palynology of the Marambio Group (Upper Cretaceous) of northern Humps Island / Philip J.D. Dolding.
Author(s): Dolding, Philip J. D.
Date: 1992.
In: Antarctic Science. (1992.), Vol. 4(3) (1992)
Abstract: Palynological analyses of Marambio Group sediments of Humps Island (500 m off James Ross Island) indicate minor displacement across prominent NW-SE trending normal fault passing beneath southern bluff. Late Campanian age suggested for both sequences and new species of dinoflagellate cyst Bourkidinium recorded from strata on either side of fault. Appendix I and II record marine and terrestrially derived taxa.
