| Abstract: | Proposes that biological indexes based on terrestrial arthropods may be especially useful in monitoring effects of possible global warming. Based on existing knowledge of Arctic faunas and their differences from temperate faunas, suggests several elements, including ratios and other quantitative indexes, to be used in long-term evaluations of change. |
