Record #116961:
US research in ice mechanics: 1987-1990 / Jacqueline A. Richter-Menges.
Title: | US research in ice mechanics: 1987-1990 / Jacqueline A. Richter-Menges. |
Author(s): | Richter-Menges, Jacqueline A. |
Date: | 1992. |
In: | Cold Regions Science and Technology. (1992.), Vol. 20(3) (1992) |
Abstract: | Focuses on efforts that support development of understanding of sea-ice interaction. Studies of both ice--structure and ice--ice interactions have been included, so that developments in both areas of research will complement each other. For this reason, work discussed in area of ice--structure interaction was limited to lateral movement of ice against vertical structure. Bibliography. |
