Hydrochemical analysis of bulk runoff leaving glacier can be used to determine relative proportion of water routed through specific pathways of internal hydrologic system and to calculate percentage contributions of water from four primary flow components: snow meltwater, ice meltwater, groundwater, precipitation water. Presents results for 1990 ablation season. |
