Record #116859:
The Hudson Bay free-air gravity anomaly and glacial rebound / Thomas S. James.
Title: | The Hudson Bay free-air gravity anomaly and glacial rebound / Thomas S. James. |
Author(s): | James, Thomas S. |
Date: | 1992. |
In: | Geophysical Research Letters. (1992.), Vol. 19(9) (1992) |
Abstract: | Current models of Laurentide deglaciation predict only 15 to 30% of Hudson Bay free-air gravity anomaly low. Unless these models are able to be modified, source of remainder of anomaly must be sought elsewhere, such as in mantle convection. |
Notes: | Geophysical Research Letters. Vol. 19(9) :861-864 (1992). |
Keywords: | 550.3 -- Geophysics. 550.312 -- Gravity and isostasy. 551.334.2 -- Isostasy, glacial. A -- Geophysical sciences (general). (*41) -- Canada. |
