| Abstract: | Discusses composition of total suspended matter (TSM) with regard to organic C, N and Si, Ca, Sr, Ba and Al and compares data with phytoplankton composition data obtained by others. Also compares measured total particulate organic carbon (POC) data with POC values based on countings and volume calculations of plankton cells in order to estimate relative contribution of detrital organic matter. |
