Abstract: Delimits and provides quantitative description of dominant zonal vegetation cover west of Hudson Bay, relating findings to climate. Objective is to offer testable delimitation of subarctic forest-tundra to be used as baseline against which future vegetation change in western Canadian subarctic can be compared.
