Abstract: Presents analysis of diving behaviour based on study of three adult females attached with which small satellite-linked radio transmitters recording ambient pressure every 20 seconds. Diving behaviour classified into three categories: 1. near-surface; 2. 'spike' dives to 20-150m. depth; 3. prolonged, flat-bottomed dives to maximum depth of 350m.
