Record #116323:

Annual variations in rheotactic and seawater adaptability in landlocked Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus) / Monika Schmitz.

Title: Annual variations in rheotactic and seawater adaptability in landlocked Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus) / Monika Schmitz.
Author(s): Schmitz, Monika.
Date: 1992.
In: Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. (1992.), Vol. 49(3) (1992)
Abstract: Tests whether landlocked population of Arctic char develops behavioural and physiological changes typically associated with parr-smolt transformation. Presents studies of annual variations in rheotactic behaviour and seawater adaptability and examines possible role of age on development of these behavioural and physiological patterns.
