Record #115516:

Greenland today is a high-tech society / Gunnar P. Rosendahl.

Title: Greenland today is a high-tech society / Gunnar P. Rosendahl.
Author(s): Rosendahl, Gunnar P.
Date: 1991.
In: Inter-Nord. (1991.), Vol. 19 (1991)
Abstract: Development work, almost 100% financed by Danish government, started to accelerate in 1950. Nature of towns has changed altogether, replacing detached and modest houses of past by urban buildings as framework of complex society. Buildings have lately assumed own Greenlandic character. All technical solutions have adapted - power, district heating, water, sewerage, roads, airports, telecommunications etc. Danish contractors were used initially; now Greenlandic labour replaces it.
