| Abstract: | Long term acid rain experiment showed this treatment to affect survival and viability of Norway Spruce and Scots Pine seedlings and ability of needles to withstand desiccation and low temperatures. Deterioration of epicuticular waxes and cellular membranes had effect on photosynthetically active needle mass. Details are illustrated with scanning electron microscope and commented. |
