Abstract: | Emphasis on response of glaciers to changing climatic parameters. Model is based on energy balance of surface, where various fluxes are parameterized so that altitudinal dependence is taken into account. Integration over several years for many surface elevations then yields profile of net specific balance. Implications of greenhouse warming are discussed. |
