Abstract: | Describes damage to vegetation caused by release, primarily of sulphur dioxide, from Noril'sk mining-metallurgical complex. Detrimental effects extend over at least 550,000 ha, with severe damage within 300,000 ha zone within 50 km to south and southeast of Noril'sk. |
