Record #114542:

Air--snow exchange processes / Susan L. Harder, Pieter M. Grootes, Robert J. Charlson.

Title: Air--snow exchange processes / Susan L. Harder, Pieter M. Grootes, Robert J. Charlson.
Author(s): Harder, Susan L.
Grootes, Pieter M.
Charlson, Robert J.
Date: 1991 review.
In: Antarctic Journal of the United States. (1991 review.), Vol. 26(5) (1991 review)
Abstract: Use of ice-core analysis to infer temperature and composition of palaeoatmosphere requires knowledge of how isotopes and impurities are incorporated into snow and how they may migrate after deposition. Oxygen isotopes and sulphate aerosols are now being studied to further understanding of ice-core data.
