Record #114338:

A finite element mechanical model for shaft freeze wall / Genda Lou.

Title: A finite element mechanical model for shaft freeze wall / Genda Lou.
Author(s): Lou, Genda.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Ground Freezing 91. Proceedings of the Sixth International Symposium on Ground Freezing, Beijing, 10-12 September 1991. Vol. 1. (1991.),
Abstract: Artificial freezing during construction of coal-mine shafts. Presents model, which describes characteristics of freeze wall including creep deformation, heterogeneity, excavation and lining procedures, and boundary conditions. On this basis, some mechanical problems in freeze wall, particularly tube breakage, are discussed.
Notes:

In: Ground Freezing 91. Proceedings of the Sixth International Symposium on Ground Freezing, Beijing, 10-12 September 1991. Vol. 1 / Xiang Yu, Changsheng Wang, eds.
