Abstract: Complete theoretical formulation of problem of radial stress variation at moving thaw front around oil-well bore was presented by Huneault and co-workers (1988) at previous Symposium on Ground Freezing. It is now solved numerically, and it is found that exact solution comes close to approximate one presented before.
