Abstract: | Discusses results of laboratory experiments using vessels of different diameter. Rate of snow evaporation in vessels of 6.6 and 15 cm diameter was 0.8x10³ and 1.04x10³ g m² s⁻¹, respectively. Rate of ice evaporation in similar conditions was 4% lower. |
