The impact of middle troposphere temperature on the regime of glaciation: a case of Central Asia / A.A. Ni, A.A. Tikhanovskaya, M.V. Volkova.
Title: | The impact of middle troposphere temperature on the regime of glaciation: a case of Central Asia / A.A. Ni, A.A. Tikhanovskaya, M.V. Volkova. |
Author(s): | Ni, A. A. Tikhanovskaya, A. A. Volkova, M. V. |
Date: | 1991. |
Publisher: | Wallingford: IAHS Press |
In: | Glaciers--Ocean--Atmosphere Interactions. Proceedings of the International Symposium held at St. Petersburg, 24-29 September 1990. (1991.), |
Abstract: | Processes taking place in middle troposphere influence changes of glaciohydrometerological parameters (air temperature, cloudiness, thawing, runoff) in glaciation zone. Energy state of middle troposphere is characterized by temperature of 4 to 7 km tropospheric layer. Relations studied are stable in time and space, and are linear. |
