Record #113061:

Wet snow management / Gaston Dumas, Yukichi Sakamoto.

Title: Wet snow management / Gaston Dumas, Yukichi Sakamoto.
Author(s): Dumas, Gaston.
Sakamoto, Yukichi.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Ottawa: Environment Canada
In: Proceedings of the Third International Workshop on the Atmospheric Icing of Structures, 6-8 May 1986, Vancouver, Canada. (1991.),
Abstract: Forecasting wet snow episodes and modelling wet snow accretion on overhead power lines will allow preventive measures to be taken. Mapping climatological risks involving wet snow, rime or glaze will be useful for designing new power lines. Data-bank and software systems are proposed.
Notes:

In: Proceedings of the Third International Workshop on the Atmospheric Icing of Structures, 6-8 May 1986, Vancouver, Canada / Leslie E. Welsh, D.J. Armstrong, eds.
