Abstract: Detailed study carried out during summers of 1987 and 1988 in northwestern part of Caledonian Highlands, thought to have remained unglaciated at Late Wisconsinan glacial maximum. Presents evidence (till, glaciofluvial deposits, glacial striae, meltwater deposits) demonstrating influence of residual ice cap.
