Abstract: Trajectories studied to establish design criteria for oil platforms. Computer simulation of movement used, assuming icebergs to be generated along northern coast of Ellesmere Island. Air drag force calculated from randomly generated geostrophic winds over Arctic Ocean. Several trajectory types identified, all consisting of many small loops. Effect of iceberg size observed on each trajectory pattern.
