| Abstract: | Describes method of creating multiyear ridges in ice tank at Institute for Marine Dynamics, Newfoundland. "Ordinary" EG/AD/S model ice and "correct density" ice were used for intermediate level ice. Describes mechanical properties of ridges: flexural strength and rigidity, density, location of neutral axis and characteristic length. |
