| Abstract: | Data obtained by driiling ice 562 m thick, 300 km from northern limit of ice shelf. Data agreed well with predictions of relatively simple oceanographic plume model of subice-shelf circulation. This model can, therefore, be used to investigate links between climate changes, ice-shelf melting and bottom-water production. |
