Abstract: AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Experimental attempts to determine diffusion coefficient in snow have led to contradictory results, but Yosida's experiments appear to give reasonable results. Yosida's hand-to-hand diffusion is quantified in particle-to-particle model, which suggests that diffusion coefficient depends on mean pore size and is 4 to 7 times greater than in air.
