| Abstract: | Investigation of previously undescribed glacial landforms has led to sequential arrangement of end moraines (with and without waterlain till), ground moraine, hummocky end-moraines, and outwash that form distinctive sequences related to earliest cycles of glaciation (Gorges and Lake Ellis) on Mount Kenya. Each sequence can be interpreted with respect to glacier dynamics and palaeoclimate that provide information about palaeoenvironmental reconstructions in this area. |
