Investigation of the seesaw in winter temperatures from deuterium and deuterium excess signals in the GISP II ice core / L.K. Barlow, J.W.C. White, Pieter M. Grootes, J.C. Rogers.
Title: | Investigation of the seesaw in winter temperatures from deuterium and deuterium excess signals in the GISP II ice core / L.K. Barlow, J.W.C. White, Pieter M. Grootes, J.C. Rogers. |
Author(s): | Barlow, L. K. White, J. W. C. Grootes, Pieter M. Rogers, J. C. |
Date: | 1991. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1991.), Vol. 72(44, supplement) (1991) |
Abstract: | AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Seesaw took place between West Greenland and northern Europe from 1840 to 1986. GISP2 core was sampled at 10 samples per year through this time period. Average values were determined from peak summer and winter δD and deuterium excess signals for each year. Values were categorized according to seesaw designation and interpreted in order to establish if and how GISP2 locality responds to seesaw. |
Notes: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 72(44, supplement) :65 (1991). |
