Record #112517:

Ridge-sail statistics at the shear edge of Lancaster Sound, March 1984 / M. Sayed, Robert M.W. Frederking.

Title: Ridge-sail statistics at the shear edge of Lancaster Sound, March 1984 / M. Sayed, Robert M.W. Frederking.
Author(s): Sayed, M.
Frederking, Robert M. W.
Date: 1991.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1991.), Vol. 15 (1991)
Abstract: Examines ice-surface geometry at shear edge of landfast ice. Surface profiles obtained from air survey in March 1984, from which height statistics were evaluated. At shear edge, height follows log-normal distribution, whereas in areas inside shear edge it follows negative exponential distribution.
