Record #112503:

Ocean--atmosphere energy exchange over thin, variable concentration Antarctic pack ice / Anthony P. Worby, Ian Allison.

Title: Ocean--atmosphere energy exchange over thin, variable concentration Antarctic pack ice / Anthony P. Worby, Ian Allison.
Author(s): Worby, Anthony P.
Allison, Ian.
Date: 1991.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1991.), Vol. 15 (1991)
Abstract: Recent studies indicate that much winter Antarctic ice is thin (<3 m) and this affects ocean--atmosphere energy exchange. Investigated, using Maykut (1978) model in study for typical September Antarctic ice and climate conditions. Considers especially turbulent fluxes, including nonlinear variation of total turbulent flux with ice concentration.
