Record #112465:

Wave deformations of sea ice floes in the Antarctic due to storms and icebergs / V.N. Smirnov.

Title: Wave deformations of sea ice floes in the Antarctic due to storms and icebergs / V.N. Smirnov.
Author(s): Smirnov, V. N.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Golden, CO: International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE)
In: Proceedings of the First (1991) International Offshore and Polar Engineering Conference. Vol. 2. Computer technology, ROV and control, risers, mooring and cables, pipelines, international polar research, ice, structures and scour ... held at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, The United Kingdom, 11-16 August 1991. (1991.),
Abstract: Considers wave generation in Antarctic sea ice. Wind, swell and icebergs are main sources of elastic and gravity waves. Self-excited oscillations occur because of interactions between drifting ice and icebergs.
