Date: 1991.
In: Permafrost and Periglacial Processes. (1991.), Vol. 2(3) (1991)
Abstract: New method of data processing used, which involves mean annual ground temperatures at depth of zero annual altitude (tan). Used with results of geocryological survey, mean ground temperature is calculated. Understanding of vertical zonality of permafrost ground temperatures may be derived from change in mean ground temperature with change in altitude, calculated for certain altitudinal intervals; variations in tan for different natural conditions; and range of tan changes, averaged for each landscape type.
