Record #112265:

A model of the formation of high-salinity shelf water on polar continental shelves / Robert W. Grumbine.

Title: A model of the formation of high-salinity shelf water on polar continental shelves / Robert W. Grumbine.
Author(s): Grumbine, Robert W.
Date: 1991.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1991.), Vol. 96(C12) (1991)
Abstract: Model of flow and salinity fields forced by sea-surface salinity flux and wind stress curl developed and used to examine processes that create high-salinity shelf water (HSSW). Model domain represents Weddell Sea or Ross Sea continental shelf without topography; modelled flux agrees with observations.
