| Abstract: | AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Reliable data is too sparse to address magnitude of short- versus long-term variability in atmospheric trace metals in snow and ice. To deal with this problem, snow pit was sampled at 5 cm intervals in central Greenland, 21-25 June 1990, and concentrations of Pb and Cd were recorded. Both metals showed clear annual cycles, with maxima in spring. |
