Title: | Small scale spatial distribution of thermal and physical characteristics of taiga and tundra and snow covers / M. Sturm, J.A. Holmgren, D.J. Solie. |
Author(s): | Sturm, M. Holmgren, J. A. Solie, D. J. |
Date: | 1991. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1991.), Vol. 72(44, supplement) (1991) |
Abstract: | AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. In-situ hourly measurements of temperature and heat-flow fields of these snow covers were made throughout winters of 1989-91 in Alaska, and measurements of stratigraphy, texture, depth, and density, and their relationship to natural vegetation were made every 4 to 5 weeks. Discusses results. |
