Record #112090:
Asthenospheric ice load effects in a global dynamical-system model of the Pleistocene climate / Barry Saltzman, M. Verbitsky.
Title: | Asthenospheric ice load effects in a global dynamical-system model of the Pleistocene climate / Barry Saltzman, M. Verbitsky. |
Author(s): | Saltzman, Barry. Verbitsky, M. |
Date: | 1991. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1991.), Vol. 72(44, supplement) (1991) |
Abstract: | AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Previous model extended by adding bedrock/asthenosphere depression and its associated ice-calving effects. Within context of this model, main results of previous bedrock/ice-sheet models are demonstrated, possibility of accounting for further aspects of palaeoclimate record is illustrated by using, in particular, effects of CO₂, and some interesting properties of model are discussed, allowing for free fluctuations in absence of Milankovich forcing. |
Notes: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 72(44, supplement) :159 (1991). |
Keywords: | 551.58 -- Climatology. 551.583 -- Climatic changes. 551.583.3 -- Climatic changes, Quaternary. 519.673 -- Modelling. E9 -- Glaciology: meteorology and climatology. |
