Record #112089:

Bering Glacier, Alaska - bed configuration and potential for calving retreat / Dennis C. Trabant, Bruce F. Molnia, Austin Post.

Title: Bering Glacier, Alaska - bed configuration and potential for calving retreat / Dennis C. Trabant, Bruce F. Molnia, Austin Post.
Author(s): Trabant, Dennis C.
Molnia, Bruce F.
Post, Austin.
Date: 1991.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1991.), Vol. 72(44, supplement) (1991)
Abstract: AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Ice-penetrating radar thickness measurements made in 1990 and 1991, together with bathymetric profiles of adjacent ice-marginal lake, were used to determine glacier-bed configuration, which is thought to be related to bottom morphology of lake. Implications discussed.
