Record #112088:
Initial interpretation of VHF-UHF short-pulse radar profiles of the Matanuska Glacier, AK / Daniel E. Lawson, S.A. Arcone, A.J. Delaney.
Title: | Initial interpretation of VHF-UHF short-pulse radar profiles of the Matanuska Glacier, AK / Daniel E. Lawson, S.A. Arcone, A.J. Delaney. |
Author(s): | Lawson, Daniel E. Arcone, S. A. Delaney, A. J. |
Date: | 1991. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1991.), Vol. 72(44, supplement) (1991) |
Abstract: | AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Profiling at 50 to 400 MHz, coupled with direct observations, measurements and shallow drilling indicate that glacier lies on deformable bed within terminus region, and that conduits are common within ice and within apparently transitional zone at ice/bed interface. |
Notes: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 72(44, supplement) :159 (1991). |
