Title: | Evolution and morphology of proglacial Vitus Lake, Bering Glacier, Alaska / Bruce F. Molnia, Austin Post, Paul R. Carlson, Dennis C. Trabant. |
Author(s): | Molnia, Bruce F. Post, Austin. Carlson, Paul R. Trabant, Dennis C. |
Date: | 1991. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1991.), Vol. 72(44, supplement) (1991) |
Abstract: | AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Position of terminus of glacier has been known since 1905. Describes surges and retreat since then, which resulted in formation of lake. Results of bathymetric and seismic surveys, carried out in 1990 and 1991, are discussed in relation to radar surveys made on lower reaches of glacier, also made in 1990 and 1991. |
Notes: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 72(44, supplement) :158-159 (1991). |
