Abstract: AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Time- and temperature-dependent model is applied to central flow band, using previously published input data. Temperatures are computed throughout vertical plane following central flowline, with finite element method employed to solve heat equation. Computed temperatures are compared to temperature profile previously measured in drill hole at station G1 by other workers. Effects of depth-dependent vertical velocity and basal balance on these temperatures are investigated.
