| Abstract: | AGU Fall Meeting Program and Abstracts, December 9-13, 1991. Airborne SAR data collected in June 1991 at three frequencies and at like- and cross-polarizations. Air and ground measurements carried out simultaneously at several locations. Measurements of surface roughness, firn density, grain size, firn temperature and local topography were completed at Crawford Point and contrasted with data collected over wet/saturated and dry snow facies. Results will be used to assess practicality of using SAR to discriminate between various melt regimes. |
