Record #112063:

Sediment and solute yield from the Jökulsá á Sólheimasandi glacierized river basin, southern Iceland / Damian Lawler.

Title: Sediment and solute yield from the Jökulsá á Sólheimasandi glacierized river basin, southern Iceland / Damian Lawler.
Author(s): Lawler, Damian.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic
In: Environmental change in Iceland : past and present. (1991.),
Abstract: Using combination of monthly observations made from 1973 to 1988 and results from intensive monitoring of water quality during 1988 melt season, interannual, seasonal and diurnal variations are examined and provisional estimates are set of suspended sediment and solute export and erosion rate for this catchment in wider Icelandic and global context. This basin is apparently one of most eroded surfaces worldwide.
