Abstract: Reviews present state of knowledge on Weichselian maximum glaciation, deglaciation, and marine limit in north Iceland, based on research from 1900 to present. Three main phases, with maximum at 18,000 a BP. Final deglaciation took place at 9650±120 a BP, and this date also applies to marine limit.
