520 3# ‡aField work carried out in August 1990, investigating sedimentological, structural and stratigraphical properties and relations of sediments exposed in sections along shore and in river gullies. Surface terrain is heavily affected by cryoturbation, soil creep and large-scale slumping, so that preservation of glacial and marine landforms and surface sediments is poor. Five major stratigraphical units were recognized. Chronology is discussed and it is concluded that sequence is of Late Weichselian age.
